In this listing we have a single doll boot. This shoe was released by Mattel in the mid 1960’s. It’s a riding boot in a totally far out Mod hot pink color. It is made from a semi-soft rubbery material with molded in stitch details. It could have come from the HTF Barbie Shoe Bag, the Walking Pretty set, or Francie’s Culotte-Wat. It is marked on the bottom with Japan. I wish I had its mate because it’s a super cool boot, but if you’re looking for one, now is your chance to complete your set!The colors came out a little saturated in my pictures. They are more muted in person.
This shoe is in good condition. It has been played with, but not too much. I did clean it, but it could use a more in depth cleaning. It does feel every so slightly sticky. It does have a couple small black spots here and there on the boot. They are the size of a pin and are hard to see unless looking up close at it. There are a couple small scratches to the boot, but you can only see them when looking up close. There’s a tiny big of excess rubber at the back of the boot at the top that wasn’t fully trimmed off at the factory. This is a really nice boot and would display wonderfully. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of the boot and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
